Het Nieuw Orkest

Het Nieuw Orkest (‘The New Orchestra’) is a Dutch (classical) orchestra, founded in 2022 by enthusiastic musicians who do take music seriously, but do not play professionally.

We perform several concerts in a year and always play a concert piece by a Dutch composer. Other works may include romantic or modern 20th century pieces.

Het Nieuw Orkest is under the artistic direction of co-founders Stef Collignon (conductor) and Art Nijhuis (concertmaster).
